Gerod and Roxanne met 12 years ago in the winter of 2002. At the time, Roxanne was attending Straford SDA Church and had developed a bond with Arlette (Gerod's Mother). Arlette was very supportive in Roxanne's college pursuit as she supported Roxanne financially throughout her college years at Northern Illinois University. During this time, Gerod and Roxanne were introduced to eachother and developed a very special friendship. They would often talk on the phone and hang-out on occassions. They attended eachother's family functions and developed a unique & supportive relationship. 

On November 24, 2013, Gerod and Roxanne decided to make their relationship exclusive. Gerod and Roxanne realized they truly HAD A SPECIAL BOND AND LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER. They knew this relationship was different as their feelings grew into TRUE LOVE. On, January 1, 2014, Gerod proposed to Roxanne at New Fath Baptist Church exactly when the clock struck midnight. 

Gerod and Roxanne have been inseperable since and have been planning their wedding over the year. Gerod and Roxanne will be married on July 26, 2015 in Runaway Bay, Jamaica.
